Building, maintaining and strengthening long-term relationships. Both with colleagues and with customers. As the new sales manager of Bever Innovations, Fuel division, it is my ambition to become a stable factor within the company, where colleagues and customers can come for help, information and support. I am happy to do my bit, in terms of sales, market and product development.
I started at Bever Innovations on the 1st of April 2022. In the coming months, I will be supporting commercial director Erwin Dingemanse, our representatives and the inside sales support team in their commercial activities. For example, by working on quotations, coordinating production and identifying (customer) wishes for product development, I will get to know the organisation, products, employees and customers better and better, which will help me develop sales. The ultimate goal is that I also get to take care of my own customers and countries. Think, for example, of countries where there are great opportunities, but where we do not (yet) have representation. I’m really looking forward to working on this, to building my own network and to visiting clients and trade fairs all over the world.
With the exception of an excursion in the last two years, I have always worked in the lighting industry. After my internship at the Philips Lighting BV factory in Terneuzen, where starters for fluorescent lamps were produced, I worked for several years at Illuxtron International, which develops LED lighting solutions for utility projects. Here I worked both in the office and in international sales. After that I started at a German company that marketed the AEG Professional Lighting brand in a new way. As a sales manager, I was able to closely supervise the entire process from idea to market. After three years this unfortunately stopped, and I worked for some time for a company in Power Supplies for large appliances. But the lighting market was always very intriguing to me…
At and with Bever Innovations, I can now continue to grow in the (LED) lighting market. What I bring to the table is my knowledge and experience in international business and my long term vision. I do not believe in quick sales. Instead, I believe in building, maintaining and strengthening customer relationships, so that the business can grow from a good foundation. A strategy that is also widely supported within Bever Innovations. A great challenge in this is to work beyond the European borders, and to introduce people with other cultures and customs to the wonderful products we develop here in Zeeland (the Netherlands).
